1. Information We Collect
We collect only the information reasonably necessary to provide our products, programs, and creative services. Depending on how you interact with Airhaert Studio, this may include:
Contact information, such as your name, email address, city, and other information you provide when contacting us, joining the newsletter, or submitting a form.
Purchase information, such as billing details, order history, and transaction records when you purchase a product, workshop, or educational program.
Payment information processed securely by third-party payment providers or financial institutions. Airhaert Studio does not see or store your complete credit card or banking credentials.
ABSA application information, such as your musical experience, creative goals, equipment or software, current challenges, desired outcomes, preferred learning format, scheduling availability, practice capacity, and responses about your readiness for the program.
Student and program information, such as attendance, scheduling, lesson notes, communications, assignments, creative work, feedback, and information needed to support your participation.
Parent or guardian information when an applicant or student is under the age of 18.
Information shared during communication, including details you choose to provide through emails, discovery calls, enrolment conversations, support requests, or program sessions.
Technical and analytics information, such as page visits, approximate location, browser type, device information, traffic sources, and interactions with our websites or forms.
Please avoid submitting private medical information or diagnoses through general forms. If you voluntarily share accessibility, learning, health, or support needs, that information will only be used to understand whether reasonable accommodations or additional support may be provided.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your information may be used to:
Deliver purchased products and manage your orders.
Review ABSA applications and assess whether the program is an appropriate fit.
Contact applicants about their application, discovery call, enrolment, scheduling, payment, or onboarding.
Provide online or in-person lessons, educational materials, feedback, and student support.
Maintain attendance, payment, administrative, and program records.
Adapt the learning experience based on information voluntarily shared by a student or their parent or guardian.
Respond to questions, technical issues, privacy requests, or support requests submitted through the Airhaert Contact Page.
Send newsletters, creative updates, releases, educational content, or workshop announcements when you have consented to receive them.
Understand how visitors interact with our websites and improve our offerings, communication, and user experience.
Meet accounting, tax, legal, security, and record-keeping obligations.
Submitting an ABSA application does not guarantee acceptance or enrolment. Applications are reviewed by Airhaert Studio and are not accepted or rejected solely through an automated decision-making system.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
3. ABSA Applications, Students & Young Creators
The Air Bending Sound Academy serves both adults and young creators. Information submitted through an ABSA application is used to evaluate the applicant’s goals, readiness, scheduling needs, preferred learning format, and potential fit with the program.
For applicants or students under the age of 18, we may request the name and contact information of a parent or legal guardian. A parent or legal guardian may also be required to approve enrolment, payment arrangements, participation terms, and other program decisions.
Personal information concerning a child under 14 should be submitted by, or with the consent of, a parent or legal guardian, unless its collection is otherwise permitted by law.
Information collected for an ABSA application will not automatically be added to the Airhaert Portal newsletter. Consent to receive future creative or promotional updates is optional and separate from the application process.
Student music, photographs, videos, testimonials, recordings, or other creative work will not be publicly shared for promotional purposes without separate permission from the student or, when applicable, their parent or legal guardian.
4. Newsletter & Communication
When you join the Airhaert Portal or actively select an option to receive future updates, you consent to receive emails about music, products, workshops, programs, and other Airhaert Studio offerings.
Operational messages connected to an application, purchase, booking, or active program are separate from promotional newsletter communication. For example, we may contact you about an ABSA application or scheduled lesson even if you have not joined the newsletter.
You can unsubscribe from promotional emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of an email or contacting us through the Airhaert Contact Page.
Unsubscribing from promotional messages will not prevent us from sending essential information relating to an active purchase, application, booking, or program.
5. Cookies & Analytics
Our websites and service providers may use cookies and similar technologies to support website functionality, remember preferences, understand site traffic, and measure how visitors interact with our content.
Some cookies are necessary for the website or checkout process to function. Where required, non-essential analytics, advertising, or profiling technologies will only be activated according to the choices provided through our cookie consent tools.
You can manage cookies through the available consent settings or through your browser. Disabling certain cookies may affect how parts of the website function.
6. Third-Party Services
Airhaert Studio works with trusted third-party service providers to support our websites, purchases, payments, communications, scheduling, digital content, and educational programs. For example; google classrooms.
We share only the personal information reasonably necessary for these providers to perform their services. They process information according to their own privacy policies, security practices, and legal obligations.
Some service providers may store or process information outside Quebec or Canada. In those circumstances, your information may be subject to the laws of the jurisdiction where it is processed.
Airhaert Studio takes reasonable steps to select reputable providers and protect personal information entrusted to them. We do not sell or trade your personal information.
7. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the requested service, administer our programs, maintain appropriate business records, and meet legal, accounting, or tax obligations.
ABSA application information from applicants who do not enrol will generally be retained for up to 12 months so that we can respond to follow-up questions or consider the applicant for a future cohort. You may request earlier deletion, subject to any legal or administrative reason requiring continued retention.
Student records and educational materials may be retained during the program and for a reasonable period afterward to provide follow-up support, maintain program records, or respond to requests.
Newsletter information is retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Certain consent and unsubscribe records may be retained when necessary to demonstrate compliance with applicable communication laws.
When information is no longer required, it will be securely deleted, destroyed, or anonymized.
8. Data Security & Privacy Incidents
Your privacy matters deeply. We use secure connections, access controls, trusted third-party systems, and reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, loss, alteration, or disclosure.
Access to student and applicant information is limited to the people who reasonably need it to administer Airhaert Studio or ABSA.
No online system can be guaranteed completely secure. If a privacy incident creates a risk of serious harm, Airhaert Studio will take reasonable steps to reduce that risk and provide notifications when required by law.
9. Your Privacy Rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request to:
Access the personal information we hold about you.
Correct or update inaccurate or incomplete information.
Withdraw consent to certain uses or communications.
Unsubscribe from promotional communication.
Request deletion of personal information that is no longer required.
Ask how your information has been used or shared.
Receive eligible computerized personal information in a structured and commonly used technological format.
Submit a question or complaint about how your information is handled.
Withdrawing consent may prevent us from providing a service that depends on the information. Some information may also need to be retained to meet legal, accounting, contractual, or security obligations.

This Privacy Policy is governed by the applicable privacy and data protection laws of Quebec and Canada, including Quebec’s legislation respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector.
12. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our websites, technology, service providers, products, educational programs, or legal obligations.
When material changes are made, we will update the “Last Updated” date and provide notice through an appropriate method when required.
